polishing tighter areas

will the 6.5 inch pads work o.k. in tighter areas without spattering? also, has anyone had success using the polishing pal with 4 inch pads removing swirls by hand?

If you're talking about using a 6.5" pad in a tight area a a DA style polisher then no they won't work as the "tight area", usually a curved panel or a body line will stop the pad from rotating thus no correction ability. For this you want to use a smaller pad like a 4" spot repair pad.

thanks, im trying to remove swirls under klasse sealant, basically start over. didnt have any luck doing it manually.

I suggest the new and improved Griots 3" polisher for those tighter areas that you can't polish by hand and that a 4" pad is too big for
