I have aluminum wheels on my ranger and every winter i sand and polish them.
lol wow dude you need to invest in a coating. there are a lot of coatings on the market now that you wipe on after the wheel is corrected and once it cures, you have protection so you don't have to go through that refurb process every year. you have to make sure the wheel is surgically clean and free of contaminants from the correction process first, but that isn't hard to do. trust me, get a proper coating!
