whats your take on what I've been using

I have an e-46 BMW 330ci-black on black 5-speed with 18s- potenzas-staggered set up.
I currently use the following products;p21s wax, 3m glaze, lexol rubber, lexol leather, one grand-under the hood, meguiars shampoo, meguiars soft brushes, griots waffle weave drying towels and CCS micro fiber towels-satin edges, 3m rubber treat-tires and top them with meguiars high gloss.
I wash once to twice a week-inside-heated garage-water is soft-I do not bucket wash- I run water over top to bottom constantly following and leading soft brush-wheels done first-separate brushes and open sponges.No swirls, no scratches no blems.
detail mists: FK-and griots speed shine has been my favorite gloss enhansers- I use california dusters-noah car cover outside summers.
If anyone has used the above-and has found better- I would like to know what-and I will try them. I am new to this forum-looks great so far- I am certifiable car crazy-like you all-the BMW club I belong to is great-but those guys don't care about show and shine-they race and wrench.

I think I'm the only race/wrencher/detailer type guy on here, love road course racing. Tried to talk a few guys on here into it at tracks here but god forbid they get a nick on the paint . Com'on, take that car on a track!

I can only offer personal preference, but two products are worth changing or experimenting from above.

Soap --- Poorboys Suds
Wax --- Pinnacle Souveran Paste

As for my vote if I couldn't have my souveran (say it ain't so!! ) I would go with Max Wax or Signature Series II. They are both excellent waxes and very close in looks.

As soe people know im a huge waxer, i think my collection is up to 16. I have found that every wax offers somthing a ltitlle diffrent, i used to use sovg, all the time, and loved it. Its looked awsome on my dads red jag, heck it also looked good on my moms black rx330 and my dads black park avenue. However it left me desring somthing more (nonone kill me its just my opiion) I like the shine to soverign but i wanted more deapth, it hink that is one of the advantages to using a wax over a sleanet, you get more depth.

So i started my hunt for a wax (which is still going on, i have tried many and have many moer to try.. the list is huge)
Apon my hunt i have found victoria wax (im sorry ag dosent sell it, maybe in the future) the vw concours gives more deapth and clarity then soverigen, its not much cheaper (maybe a buck or 2 and oz) but the results are stunning.

For those looking to try a new "luxery" wax i would tell them to try victoria wax- concours... ohh ya you can also buy 3oz jars so if you want to try it without buying a full 6oz jar its perfect

dont worry surfer, im with you! i used to race karts for a few years and have been trying to get to an autocross soon but my car didnt want to retain oil so no hard driving! but thats fixed now ...

I purchased a new pair of wheels for my Lambo and the company I got them from sent me a free P21S Detailing kit including P21S Concours Carnauba Wax. A dealer had ordered the wheels and sold the car before the wheels were made so I also got the custom made to order wheels for half off of their retail price. I have not tried the P21S Concours Carnauba yet but for the price it has to be good. I have tried Pinnacle Sig. Series on my dark silver vette and it did a very nice job.

Surfer when I'm on the Sebring track I don't worry about putting a nick in a car but I do worry about running into the wall which I have almost done numerious times there. Your insurance company is not going to pay for your car when you recked it on the track so don't worry about a nick just worry about your car.

You all rave about pinnacle-until joining this forum-I never even heard of it-just goes to show you what I hope to learn in this forum. As mentioned in my original posting-I am a member of BMWCCA-anyone who is ever in Indy can join in on the racing/driver schools etc. You don't have to have a BMW to race with us-but you DO have to have a hardtop-rags not allowed even with rollcage-we use Putnam race track and others-tech inspections in the morning-races all weekend-plenty of slide off room. Most guys cover the front end and rockers with racers tape( non adhesive leaving)anyway- thanks you all for the info sofar-I plan to make some purchases and have fun in my garage!

I crashed at Willow Springs, turn 9 owned me lol, just like almost everyone else that crashed there. Came in too hot and the car bounced and went off. I think that turn on the track has had more crashes then any other. Your car get's loose on turn 9 there and your pretty much screwed as it's a decreasing radius. This was in the prepped 911 SC we were running. Happened so fast when I stopped I was just like "holy sh!t???"
