Poor boys SSR and Edge Pads questions

It's been a while since I did any restorative detailing. My last project was a 91 MR2. I now have a 97 Forrest Green Integra that I would like to detail.

I still have all the products I used to bring gloss to the paint of the MR2 I had. I have a bottle of SSR2.5, SSR1 and PoorBoys EX (or EXP) along with an Edge Blue and Edge green pads.

I can't remember if I should use the green pad for the SSR2.5 and the Blue Pad for SSR1 and SSR EX. Does that sound right? I was very happy with the result I had on the MR2. Although the paint on the Acura is in much better condition than the MR2's.
 
You should use a polishing or light cut pad with the SSR2.5 depending on the amount of defects you are looking to remove. You wouldn't want to use the light cut pad if a polishing pad will do the trick, so you'll have to make a judgement call when you are detailing, it's not something that we can tell you for sure...

I don't use the Edge pads but the green pad is the cutting which is what you'll use the 2.5 with and the SSR1 with the blue, and the EX or EX-P with the blue as well.

Great! That sounds like what I did, but it's been quite some time and I've forgotten. Do you think it would be better to use the white finishing pad instead of the blue light cutting pad for the SSR1 or EX, or just for the EX? Or is the blue pad fine for both of those?
 
You'll want to use the softest pad for the EX, and just the EX.

The SSR1 can be used with a polishing or a finishing pad, either will work well and produce nice results. The polishing pad will correct a litte more than the finishing pad, if that's what you are looking for.
