PwS is a great product. The work in time is virtually unlimited. The product will not dust if you work it in too long. A good rul of thumb is to work it in until the product is pretty clear-- but that depends on what you are doing with it. If you are using it as a paint cleaner / sealant, use a polishing or finishing pad, speed below 5 and work it in fairly quickly, allow the residue to stay on paint for 20 - 30 mins. If you are trying to remove light swirls, clean the paint, and seal, use an oragne LC pad (light cut) work the product in a little longer but allow it to remain on the paint for the 20-30 minutes as well. If you have a dark colored vehicle you may get some light micromarring from the light cut pad which can be fixed by quickly going over the vehicle with a polishing pad and PwS.
I have used PwS with the rotary and PC both with LC polishing and light cut pads. The work in time is great, comparable to Optimum Polish-- but much easier to work with. I like to polish the whole car and then wait a few minutes before I wipe the residue off. This allows the sealant aspect of the product to bond to the paint efficently. You can top with anything or nothing after the PwS. I've topped with EX-P, a paste wax, and OCW with no ill effects. But don't expect the PwS to add much durability when you top because it wouldn't have time to bond. Try to keep the car out of rain for 2 days to ensure maximum durability if you are leaving it as a stand alone product. Hope this helped.
