Poorboy vs XMT

I think you'll find it to be a matter of personal preference between the two with both brands producing great results.

XMT 3 and 2 combo are comparable to SSR2.5 and SSR1 combo. I had the XMT1 once upon a time it was very weak ... didn't do much correcting. They are very similar compared to results and usability. I've used Poorboy's for years and haven't had any complaints with any of their line. You really can't go wrong either way though.

Also, the red car in your picture from the other thread isn't bad at all. XMT3 or 2 and definitely SSR2.5 (with a polishing pad) will remove the marks no problem at all. I have removed much worse with SSR2.5. If you do end up going with the SSRs, check out the link in my signature for best results :). Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, let me know.

You'll want to do a 2 step polish no matter what company you choose. The SSR2.5 or XMT3 will cut out the swirls and deep scratches and the XMT2(or 1) or SSR1 will remove any micromarring and increase the gloss, bringing the paint to perfection.

I used SSR 2.5 using budman3's tips and it worked fantastic on my Evo. I'll be doing my buddy's Evo probably next weekend (IT IS TRASHED!!!) Im going to try SSR 2.5 on a section to see what it will do, but im bringing along my SIP that will be here today just in case.

I love SSR2.5. I love Pinnacle, but can't seem to bring myself to get into the XMT line. SSR2.5 might be my favorite mid-grade polish.

That is a tough question. I've used both products and I like them both. I think it comes down to personal preference or someone with more skill than me to note the difference between the two. personally, I lean a little to Poorboy's World.
