2.5 (if needed, this will most likely leave micromarring)
Polish with carnuba (to clean up the micromarring)
Natty Blue

I am not sure what you will get out of the sealant if you apply it over the Polish with carnuba but it may work out

2.5
PWC
BH
Ex-P
NB (after sealant has cured for a day)

Like Chris said there may be some micro marring from the 2.5 so the PWC will clean that right up.

Very nice process you got there buff away lol. :buffing:

Chris, how much more cut does SSR2.5 have over SSR2?

Which chris? Pockets can probably tell you better then I. I like 2.5 for heavier clean up I have both in my arsenal and after getting through 1/2 the bottle of 2.5 I started trying 2.0 more often and found it works on a decent amount of the stuff I used to turn to 2.5 for. SSR3 I only grab when sanding the scratches out after wet sanding headlights or when trying to remove water spot etching on glass... it's probably overkill in both cases haha.

Point 5 more :p (lol couldn't resist)

We like to say that 2.5 is a power horse it can do some serious correction when combined with an orange light cutting pad and some elbow grease and work time. The 2 is more of a mild compound in that it cant do as much as the 2.5 and it finishes down a lot smoother (mar/haze free). We came up with the 2.5 becasue customers wanted a little more cutting ability than the 2 but nothing near the 3 (liquid sandpaper) so we made something that tackles the job yet finishes down decently.

It's my go to for most cars 2.5 and an orange pad. Probably soon to be replaced by Syn 1 though ;) (once we get rid of the dusting the factory made one seems to have  but that's why it's a work in progress)

Hope that helped :props:

Glad to know i wasn't the only one having dusting issues with it :) and I'd like to know how you can stand using an org pad on a rotary.... It walks me all over the place If i think i need org i have been advised to grab the wool... its easier

You'll get the hang of it just gotta get the right tilt down than feel where the machine is going to go..... What kind of pads are you using?

I hate wool it gets the job done but there's fluff EVERYWHERE and than there is holograms like crazy haha

How much pressure should i be putting on the 7424? , i was thinking about removing the handle and using my hand to pressure directly over the pad, all while using ssr2.5 and speed 6 with an orange let me know what you think??

Typically, speed 6 is best used for corrective work. The most common recommendation for pressure is 20 lbs. The machine puts about 3 to 4 pounds on it's own so you add the rest. Most importantly though is to make sure the pad is spinning. To have a visual cue, draw a single line with a sharpie on the back side of the backing plate, from center out. That gives a visual indication of a spinning pad. If it's not spinning, lighten up the pressure or the machine could be tilted too much to one side causing the clutch to activate.

i can use speeds 5-6 with ssr 2.5 if i choose?? that is considered to be "corrective work" right?? whomever was the previous owner of this truck manged to swirl it somehow
