I agree that it makes my Pilot exterior plastics pop. I use a foam paintbrush instead so I can get in all the nooks and crannies.

I just did a truck and there was some trim that was almost pure white, PB brought the color right back. Hope it works as well for you.

I suggest that you clean those rails with straight APC on a cotton terry towel rubbing vigorously then brush TR on heavy and let it sit until it is all absorbed. I would apply a few heavy coats over a few day period. I'd be willing to bet that they will look new again after that.
