I'd like to understand more about the differences in these products. I know the EX Sealant contains some carnuba wax, but aside from that... how do these products differ? Is one generally considered to be a better product than the other? Are they even better used one over the other?

Thanks for helping me understand these better... especially when used over an existing sealant of another manufacturer.

I believe you nailed it. The EX contains some carnuba in the formulation, EX-P is pure sealant. I've used both and found no difference in durability (3 mos +/-) or the very easy wipe off removal. They're my current favorites.

There are those that can detect a differnce with carnuba looking warmer or wetter. Some also claim that a pure sealant looks a bit artificial or 'plasticky'. I can't really see those differences but YMMV.

EX is generally used for dark colors and EX-P is generally used for lighter colors and metallic flake.

I use both interchangeably becasue my mood depends how I want the car to look lol
