Ok, so here is a Porsche 911 Carrera I did just last month. It wasn't horrible, but could definitely benefit from some paint correction.

Swirls, Water spots, RIDS, & Bird poo etching where all over this car. Nothing a 1 Step couldn't handle or at least improve!

So I got started with the wheels

Products used:
-Diablo wheel gel(4:1)
-Grime reaper APC (4:1)
-Wheel woolies
-Race glaze brush
-Misc. brushes
-Hydro2

Quite the dust buildup

After Wheels, Tires & Arches were cleaned; Rims got some Hydro2 action to help protect them.

I then moved on to all exterior plastics & Exhausts

Products used:
-Grime reaper APC (4:1)
-Race glaze brush
-Misc. Brushes

I then washed, stripped the car of any LSPs, & Clayed the car. Some of the defects present at the time.

Gotta love the "Hips" on these cars!

All taped up & ready for some polishing!
Call me crazy, but for a few seconds... i actually liked the way the green tape accented the car!!

-HD Adapt
-Harbor freight DA with 3" adapter
-Orange LC Hydrotech pads

Once done with polishing. It was given a good IPA wipedown & toppped with Collinite 845

Few shots once it was finished inside

Few pics of it outside when i came back for its next wash. Tried getting sun pics but there always seems to be an outcast when i go. Or the sun is out of direct sight when i get to it.

All in all, I think it came out great for a 1 Step. Obviously not perfect but pretty close.

Thanks for looking guys!

Nice job buddy, love this cars and the way they look after a nice detailing like this one make them even greater!!!

Great job!

Question so HD Adapt is a Compound and Polish?

Then I am assuming you waxed with Collinite 845. I still have to use my HD Speed and see how it works.

Either way great work

Looks good. It can only be as good as what the customer wants to pay for. Can't be perfect if there not paying for it.

swirl free black paint, it doesn't get any better. very nice...

Awesome post, pictures and results. Thanks for sharing!

Kind Regards.

To my knowledge/understanding
Yes its both, depending on the pad you use it will adapt & cut accordingly. Its benefit is you can switch from lets say a MF cutting pad to a polishing pad & not need multiple products.

Yes that's correct. I have tried a sample & really like it. However i prefer using polishes that correct, & then applying LSP of preference.

Let me know how you like Speed.

Tahnks! Very true, still got some great correction though & was very happy with the outcome.
