I spent a few days in getting this 991 back into shape. The vehicle was the typical swirled out variety as in many other black paint seen on this forum. I didn't take any before pics since it was so typical of the cars I worked on lately. The owner was referred to me by another Porsche owner whom I did work for several of his classic 911s.
Every car is unique and has its own challenges and this one is no exception. The hood was fairly thin (87 microns) in comparison to the rest of the vehicle (126 microns average) with a few areas that were painted carbon fiber. The front bumper was resprayed with orange peel not consistent with the rest of the car. There were some concrete splatter by the rear wheel well along with some scratches on the passenger side front fender that I suspect came from a pet.
The prep was fairly straight forward (wash then chemically and mechanically decontaminate ). Did a 2 step correction while using Essence as coating prep for CQUK.
Note: Just received the Flex XCE and GG G8 and I was dying to try them out. The XCE is quieter and vibrate much less than the 3401. GG G8 IMHO is more powerful then the Rupes LHR 75E mini but it is heavier.
