This was just an exterior only. The owner said he would do the inside. For being a 21 year old porsche. This turbo looks new. It is the original paint, it is a single stage(non clear coat)

He might be selling it, so he wanted it to look dripping wet.
Pollen here sucks right now:mad: everything is turning a greenish color. You wash your car, and by the time you dry it all. Pollen is all over it again.

Wash
With optimum car wash, took like all of 2 minutes:D
No clay was needed, since it felt smooth.

The game plan

My game plan was to go light with the correcting. I started with a EDGE green pad and PB PwS.

I didn't see any difference with it so then.
[FONT=&quot]I then opted to go with the Optimum polish and the green EDGE pad set at speed 5. This combo worked a little better for me. It gave just enough of a cut. This was the first time I used this polish.
Once again covered in pollen, wiped off again.
Out came the Pinnacle XMT glaze w/ carnauba. This is some good stuff.

I put it on the whole car, and then let it sit for about 15min. Then I wipe it off with a cobra deluxe jr mf.

The Finale call

Poorboys Trim Restorer on all exterior trim.
Tires received Pinnacle Black Onyx

Paint
What Pinnacle Souveran am I going to put on. I opted to go with the Liquid souveran.
That way I could put it on the whole car then wipe off. Less time for the pollen to get on it.

Talk about engine mods. And it is fast too.

I have to say, I really am not a big fan of Porsche's but that one is really nice.
You did a great job, that red has a lot of pop to it!

OMG, she is hot, even to be 21 years old. Awesome work, and yes you made that car dripping wet.:applause:

WoW that just dead sexy, great job on the detail, looks better than factory

Very nice job! It looks like it's in excellant condition. I love the way the use to fare out the back fenders. I have chance to the an 07 Turbo and couple of weeks ago. Since the change the head lights they look a lot more like the older ones. My friend has a 930 Turbo two years newer.

Looks great that trim restorer worked great and your right it looks great

Ahhhh, the ol' turbo 930's, we had a black one back in the day. That's when Porsche was a real drivers car and not the luxo car it is today. Turbo 930's are wicked on track, boost is on or off no inbetween....makes for a hell of an experience. Awsome job on a classic. There was a guy down here who had around 750 horsepower in an 930, was a god damn rocket when it hooked on that light car.

ooooohhhh wet....so wet.

Very nice, I'm with Meghan on this one. I'm not well edumacated on these types of vehicles nor do they appeal to me but man you made it wet....so wet..amazing.

you did a fine job, well done buddy.

What a great job on that one. No wonder he drove away happy.

Twenty One years old?????????? It looks brand spankin' new. Great work.

Great Work . To Quote a movie Risky Business "Porche their is no substitute." On my dad's side his Aunts an Uncles live in Whitfield County (Dalton area). The pollen was so thick on the porch I could write my name in it. Great work fighting the elements.

Haha, saw this thread again and it made me go look on Ebay for turbo 930's. We still have our 80' S/C prepped for track use. But if you've ever driven a turbo 930 what an experience, not smooth and linear like todays turbo's, the the 930 went from docile to raging bull in a split sec when the turbo kicked in. It was basically a wild animal that's hard to control...I love it lol. They use to call it the widow maker b/c on the track the turbo would kick in mid corner if you just gave a little to much gas (basically on or off) and you could imagine the fun that caused:D

Long live the time when Porsches were real drivers cars and not snoozemobiles now.

Want to know the secret of how high end got that wet look? Its because I am drooling all over it. NICE!!!!!!!!
