My friend just called me all angry that he bought it 2 weeks ago there for $119 (up from $109) and now it's on clearance for $89. I asked him "do you have your receipt on you?" and he does have it. So I told him to go get a price adjustment. He's happy now :)

Really? I have to go to Lowe's today to return some stuff. I'll see if they have the same deal around here.

Yeah check it out. I feel like grabbing another one just so it's easier to wax on/wax off w/o changing between pads and wool pad/mf bonnet.

what is the difference between the 7424 and this one?

I believe just the size of the counterweight.

DrMike- why though the price difference?

I'm not sure. They look to be identical machines except for the counterweights they come with. You can usually find the 7424 and 7336's for around $110 online.

If it makes the staff feel any better my buddy bought his PC at Lowe's but he bought a $150 gift cert to AG with wedding money so he could buy pads and products :)

Sorry! I did not realize. :( Besides, I think anyone who has read my posts knows I bought the pc. :)
Actually, after looking at your site with me, a friend one mine with two Porsches also in Temecula, CA, just ordered the same pc and all the pinnacle products as a result. (THEY LOOK GREAT!!) He just does not participate in the forum. But I could easily send the name of the buyer and his email to killer and he can look him up.

I just wanted to see the reason they sell one for so much less.(To me, what you pay for is what you get. I mean come on, I bought $80 wax. I don't want some cheap crappo pc on my vette!! Just to clarify, guys.....)
:) Lauren (yes, I always write essays. I am a high school English teacher!1 HEEEHEEE:D :o

what is the difference between the counterweights have to do with anything

a highschool english teacher that drives a vette? man my english teachers sucked =p

So was the original post a typo? I've never heard of a 7334.

I always thought it was a PC 7336? And if they are $89 a piece, go and buy one! That's a bargain!

Yes, he must have meant 7336SP because that is the model number the PC is sold under at your local [insert name of blue colored, big box, home improvement store here].

I have the 7336SP which has the larger counterweight. From what I have read no one can tell the difference between the two weights. I believe they're intended to reduce vibration.

Ryan is completely correct in that products sold by AG that are also offered at competitors (be it retail or online) on sale, should not be posted on the forum. It is bad taste if nothing else ....

What I will say is the same thing I offered to forum members when our units were selling at 129.99. You can get in the car , drive around, waste gas and hopefully find a location that has unit at clearance price, or you can order it for our best possible price and consider a kit to add value. Since Lowes does not offer the pads, nor polishes you will find yourself going to more than one place anyways. IMO its about time, my familys time and about the best pricing given all circumstances.

The machines are the same for all purposes, same as the Megs unit they sell for 199.99 with longer warranty. Some are sold for polishing, others for sanding.
