Where does it say what gen PC the OP was using? He gave no info at all. For all we know he was beating the machine on the roof with a hammer when it broke.

NP,,G110v2 had cord issues and still does, Few PC shaft breaking inside the gear head is quality problem not related to usage in my opinion. Would like to get my hands on one of the shafts and do a Rockwell test.

I can asure you Flannigan I was not beating on the machine. I was actual buffing the traga top on my 2008 corvette. I do have a little experience using power tools. As a mater of fact i have been a machinist for 30 plus years.

I'm just glad everyone agrees that Griots makes the BEST DA

I am fortunate not to have experienced a broken shaft, sounds very painful.

Based on what I have heard, Autogeek sells more PC's than the Griot's or Meguiars and of the three has the least returns with the PC. I have a Mexican made PC and have had no issues. While American made is obviously the best choice, I would still prefer a Mexican made product over one made in China.
