Porter cable buffer swirls

I am using a orange cutting pad and Zaino AIO and put the PC on setting 1 to put the polish in and setting 3-4 for removing scratches.

You want to be on the 5-6 speed setting and really the 6 setting to remove swirls. You need to mark your backing plate so you can see if the pad is rotating or not as it needs to be rotating in order to remove swirls and scratches.

If it says "keep from freezing" and it freezes, the solvent carriers in the product have separated to the point where they won't mix properly no matter how hard you shake, rattle and roll them.
I think this is what happened to my Zaino finish spray. Anytime I spray it now, it sprays the liquid and a tiny amount of this red paste stuff out too.

Good lord Mike! Any chance you are coming to Michigan for training people? I would be up for that and have the perfect car for everyone to learn on. A black 2002 Honda with 140k on the clock!

Hey Bill. Fancy seeing you here. Come down to Fort Wayne and bring that Honda. We'll get it looking good!

Been a long time Mark! Hope all is going well for you and your family! Kinda funny, my SVT I am driving at the moment probably has some parts on it from your old car (since you sold it to a buddy of mine).
The Honda I am speaking of is actually my moms car. I have read that the Nighthawk Black actually fades quickly and by the time I got to doing cars for family, it was to late. I think it would take a miricle to bring it back to life though.
I am though, getting out of the SVT phase, and getting an SI that is going to be needing protection! Maybe I can arrange for SVT SNOB and I to make a road trip, maybe throw Stazi in the mix too for shits and giggles!

Hey guys!
I have noticed on a few cars that I have done in my family that some of them get buffer swirls (or weird paint spots that are darker than other) on them after words. I am using a orange cutting pad and Zaino AIO and put the PC on setting 1 to put the polish in and setting 3-4 for removing scratches. I move side to side, then up and down.
Any thoughts on this? Any recommendations?
Thanks!

I'd guess that you weren't working the product long enough. And call me crazy, but I use ZPC (and just about everything else with abrasives in it) at speed 6. The only other thing I can think of is your pads are contaminated with dirt, that will certainly cause swirling.

lol by some new pads also prime the pads before you start put comp on the pads all over the face of the pad and some water also need to soffin up the pads to start out.

What I suspect is happening your machine speed is too slow and machine movement is too fast. Polishes work better with a machine speed of 5 or so and slower feed rate or arm speed...Also, adequate pressure and be sure the pads rotating.

Jeez, I can't get away from any of you people.. LOL

Bill do you happen to have pictures of these spots, I want to say I've had something similar happen with the van before.
