hey just another new guy here. I just baught the PC 7336 and wanted to know if I should've waited and gotten the 7424( cuz the store didn't have it). Is there a difference between both. The only diff. I see is that it comes with a sanding pad.the PC I baught came with a white pad. Is this pad to much for very light swirls? Thanks in advanced

Accually you made the right choice the only difference between the 2 is that one come with more acessories ( pads ect ect). Whichever kit you buy all you really need is the porter cable and the wrench that comes with it and you still need to buy pads and the correct size backing plates. The white pads that come with the PC is fine with light swirls it all depend on what polish your going to use it with.

can I use the meguiars deepcrystal sysemt with the pc. Will the stage 2 work for lite swirls or should I use stage 1 or are they any good

move to Menzerna polishes, trust me, and yes the 7336 and 7424 are same machines with different options in box.

thanks for the info guys and about my car its a red 2000 ford lightning

Get menz for polishing and Fuzion for LSP. It's on sale and you can't beat the price.

Yeah I just seen that today. I already had gotten the p21s kit that comes with the cleansing lotion and 100% carnuba. But this is to much of a good deal to pass up. How is the 100% carnuba%

Get the Fuzion your ford with be dripping blood.

How About For A Dark Metalic Blue Color? Would A Nuba Wax Be Good Or Would A Sealent Work Better?

Try both, sealant and top with a nuba for gloss, depth, and protection.:buffing:

Dude, all these pads!!! Okay, so I'm going to buy a Porter 7424, so do I just use the pads it comes with? CCS 6.5 Smart Pads? Cobra Cross Groove Flex? Edge Wave pad? And then there are bonnets!?! Any body have a favorite that they absolutely swear by?

Get a klt with 5.5" LC pads. IMO skip the bonnets and get some good quality MF towels for buffing and removing wax.

Okay, I'm new at this...KLT? and LC pads. Sorry about the remedial stuff.
