So last weekend it was finally a nice day to detail my car.

so i washed clayed washed again.

now comes the light polish w/ porter cable and klasse AIO.

i used a white ccs pad for the klasse aio. i put 3 small lines and rubbed onto the panel befor turning it on.

now the only question i have is. it got really crusty and flaky. so i got a damp mf towel and buffed it off after i was finished.

now when i did the klasse aio by hand it never did that.

any thoughts?

also on a side note. how much pressure would be optimal for polishing and applying waxes. i let the wieght of the porter cable itself be the only pressure, and it seemed to really bogg down and start to get really slow to almost a stop

Klasse AIO really isnt much if anything of a polish, more of a chemical cleaner. Your pad choice will dicate the abrasiveness IMO. It it dries or cakes to soon, use a little water on pad to keep wet, or an acrylic based quick detailer.

I use Klasse AIO on PC with 4" Edge Blue pad. The action of the PC seems to activate the chemicals in AIO better as I noticed better cleaning/stripping then using a yellow foamie and AIO by hand. If you see any correction its just the pad you are using, KAIO is just a chemical cleaner.

ahh alright. soo is the crusting any indication of me using to much or too little of the product? or is it just how that works with the porter cable and klasse.

or it could mean the polish isn't being broken down by the machine would be my guess.

Could be a bit too much, not breaking down enough(work it in a bit longer), or could have needed a cleaner surface to start(clay)
