Possible So-Cal Geek Meetup . . . ? ? ?

You guys should! Detailing in Irvine had a parking lot full of corvettes it made my 2003 look like a bucket haha

Plus I didn't wash it before going, (had no idea there was going to be a demo lol)

fly out to NY/NJ for the meet here haha

Autogeek is in, you put it together and I will send some goodies!

There it is, can't have anymore motivation than that!!

1] Chino/Chino Hills area
2] Unable to host
3] Saturday/Sundays would be best for me
4] BBQ
5] Mainly trying out new machines/products
6] Live demo'ing and educate each other in techniques and more

5 so far with Autogeek, helpin to make it happen

Art, Blob, Dadid11g35, AC [slater?] in OC, and myself

Im in depending on the date and location.

I had a good time at the last meet up/project

thats cool, whoever's RAM that was HAD to be excited..

that being said, maybe we should incentivize hosting....

So if you host you get to have [1] one car worked on by Geeks! ... However to qualify for possible hosting, you need to have a BBQ and ample space for people to meet, work, hang, restroom, and PARK!!!!

** So if multiple people now wanna host it will be decided on best over all-around venue.... accessibility, location to most participating, and all the other criterion i just noted :)

Ditto! We had a good time working on that big ram. It's a good opportunity to hang out and learn about different products/tools.

I nominate my swirled-out '06 Navigator as the test subject! Black of course! :buffing:

INTERESTED PERSON # 5

I'm down, I'm in Pasadena. I can't host though. I'm in temp housing while are home is renovated:(. And it's killing me.

This sounds cool. I'm down. Hopefully I can make it. It all depends on the date and if my daughter has softball that day.

1) Ontario (Inland Empire)
2)Can't host
3) Sat or Sun
4)BBQ or potluck as long as there's food
5)Work on technique and help with my cars problems

that makes 7 interested so far:

Art, Blob, Dadid11g35, AC [slater?] in OC , cleanmycorolla, phimp27, and myself.

we will work to get a day best for all...

Hopefully a few candidate for hosting pop up ► ► ► remember a car MAKEOVER is in the balance :xyxthumbs:

IF we end up doing a BBQ, lets make it clear

EVERYONE has to bring a FOOD item that is enough quantity for all to enjoy.... none of this, " ill bring drinks," and that person brings soda and napkins LOL

I'm interested, can bring Rupes 21 w/5" backing, Flex PE and assortment of waxes.

Hope I can make it.

Haha... definitely not AC slater. Hey maybe Meghan will send some Florida Gator meat in addition to some detailing supplies, or that snake Mike's wife killed. Hopefully not.

Nice! Those are the tools I want to try. You were a silent contributor to our last small meet. You took some before pics and left some items for the host, which was nice. Hopefully this works out and you can be there this time.

Might I add I can bring food, also my griots 6", some polishes waxes and sealants for people to try. My car won't need work but will love helping others! If I am free I will be there.

I'm interested!

1. I live in Lake Forest, about 5 minutes away from Detailing in Irvine.

2. I live in a condo, so I can't host.

3. Depending on location of the venue, I can do Friday afternoon/evening, Saturday morning/early afternoon, or Sunday anytime.

4. BBQ/potluck style sounds good to me (9). My buffalo chicken dip is famous amongst friends and always a crowd pleaser. I could bring that.

5. I consider myself a novice, so maybe a demo where everyone shares their favorite detailing trick (for example, a time saver, shortcut, or general tips that aren't widely known).

I'll let my car get dirty and can use it for a Waterless Wash demo for any who wants to try it out.

I'll also donate a wax for a raffle, maybe for a charity.

We have the count at 9 interested so far:

Art, Blob, Dadid11g35, AC in OC , cleanmycorolla, phimp27, wheelzntoys, k12354, and myself.

Hopefully a couple candidates for hosting pop up .. lol or at least one ► ► ► remember a car MAKEOVER is in the balance :xyxthumbs:

►►►► everyone interested so far PM Me your email and preferred day for a spread sheet for the meet contact info plz....

Aiming to nail down an approximate week for the meet, in the next 4-5 days... allowing those who dont get on the boards daily to be heard :)

Unfortunately I can't contribute much equipment as far as machines go. I don't do this enough to have a fund for them. Most expensive equipment I have is a paint thickness gauge if anyone wants to try it or maybe for me to compare with you guys' more fancy PTGs, and a 7424xp so I can bring those just in case we need that extra machine to correct paint to speed up the process.
