Possible Southeast Michigan Detailing Get together

I know there is a fair amount of Michiganders on AutogeekForum. I want to see how much interest a get together of sorts would draw.

When- This spring/ early summer

Where- Would like a detailing shop or member with large area/garage/barn

What- Thinking of a full detail on a vehicle for a charity/church . Would be sweet to work with some pros and pick up some tips too!

Food- Maybe bbq hotdogs/hamburgers- pop/water-maybe just order pizza???

Please reply if you would attend and most importantly if you would be interested in hosting. My place is very small or I would host this potentially awesome event!!

Absolutely!

Ed Peck from Peck Auto Detailing said he would be able to host. He has a large garage, but depending on turn out, may not be enough. I could also host here in Shelby Twp at my girl's place. But the garage is pretty small.

I'm in NW Ohio and would be interested. And I am a WOLVERINE fan if that helps my cause. :laughing:

7 hours from me to get to MI so not this year but I agree with Bob, GO BUCKS

I'm a new guy, but would be interested. I bought a GG-6 during the Christmas sales and would like to see an experienced detailer using a polisher before I go at it. It would also be a good opportunity to trade samples. I already have more detailing products than I could realistically use on my cars.
 
I wish I could come in for this, seeing I grew up in the enchanted mitten and moved away the winter of 2009. We've had a couple here and its best to figure out what you guys wanna do at the meet, i.e. have a practice car to do, figure out who's bringing what as far as products to try, etc. A shop is best due to the size of the place. I hope you guys take a lot of pics, Derek, are you going???

Once this is set up I will send some FrankenDetailer to the host house and do what you want with it, probably some "extras" as well 👍👍

Just need someone to drop me a PM with the name and addy info when the time comes but give me some time so it gets there before the actual meet.
