Just placed an order with AG, and realized I stilldidn't have one of the interior window washers. The urge to wash my windows struck me once again tonight, and I felt some inovation was in order. Not something I'd consider brain surgery, but a little tape, one MF towel, and a broad plastic spatula that my wife was ready to toss, and an idea was born.

Low and behold, I tossed it all together and put it to the test. It kicked ass, I was able to get every nook and crany, both front and rear interior with ease.

Here's a shot of my backyard genius with a Victoria Secret discount card tossed in as a bonus:

You don't have to wear something from VS to use that, do you??

Nice work, a great guy on another forum shared the spatula trick with us many years ago (hi Patrick!). You might want to use a rubber band instead of the tape, it makes it easier to change the towel. Anyway, definitely the poor man's Glassmaster.

Damn, I'm the AG equivalent of the Professor from Gillagen's Island then (most are probably too young to get that). Yes, Rubber band, even hair tie, was my first choice, but couldn't find any... and I'm impatient when I have an idea ;)

I loved gillagens island!

Its a pretty good idea. Its hard to contort into weird shapes to get into the lower front and rear window. I barely fit in my car as it is at 6'3, so getting into these small spaces is a challenge for me.

Necessity is the mother of invention...:dblthumb2:

There's nothing like a "possible" and yet "temporary" cure. Glad you aren't my physician. But a clever (hillbilly) idea. Thanks for sharing.

i use zip ties instead of tape-just cut the zip tie with utilitie knife and zip on a glass microfiber to dry with

I ran into a situation on a back window where my Stoners tool wouldn't fit. I didn't think of a spatula to get into the tight space. I'll have to try this out
