Possible water spotting?

Hey guys. Not sure if many of you have come across this. These are like disappearing temp water spots. This is a still new truck and has been polished and sealed over this last year. I haven't sealed it in maybe 2-4 months.

After a rain today I noticed while drying it off that I see these:

First picture is the water itself.

Second pic is while wiping it


Third is after I got that spot dry.
 
Yeah, just hit that area with some polish, then wax that area again.
 
I noticed that the whole truck does this when I dried it. I'm not sure if it is just remnants of the water left on there.

I believe I recall seeing this on vehicles with a weak or old LSP. How does the surface feel? Is it slick or kind of "grabby" when you're drying it?

Do you have any spray wax that you can use on an area to see if this helps the situation?

It is kinda old. I need to put another coat if sealant but I wasn't sure if I needed to polish the whole truck. I could use my menzerna fine polish. I had menzerna power lock on it.
 
Those water drops being so large and non symmetrical means your sealant is at its end life.
 
Use something like Menz. 2500 or 4000 and follow it up with a sealant right now to save yourself the trouble of compounding or doing a CG hard water spot removal when the issue gets worse.

The pics were actually taken of the bed of the truck. The hood,top and sides bead nicely. I'm just wondering if they are actually spots embedded or just remnants.

I thought about hitting it with 4000 for sure then powerlock.
I'm assuming that will remove them.
 
I'm just mainly wondering if they are water spots or what. They don't leave any marks or white sediment.
 
So do guys think it might just be the sealant at the end of its life or actual water spots. No white residue nor etching
