Post up your business card

I got them made locally

Thanks :props:

Thanks, Your card looks great as well :props:

If you don't mind me asking how much did they cost? I love the way plastic business cards look. Plus u don't need much info for them to look good, they are impressive so ppl will show others, and they are durable.

Heres mine, custom frosted plastic business cards :xyxthumbs:

I really like the plastic cards, they have such a weighty substantial feel to them, almost like a credit card... which encourages clients to keep them (it doesn't feel natural throwing anything not made of paper away - even those grocery store 'loyalty' cards etc., we think before we discard them).

Great job! :)

Here's one of our business cards we had made quickly as a "place holder" until our new batch is done with the design phase and the printers send us the final proofs (which we're VERY excited about).

I actually designed this from scratch as a simple method to spread the word about our organization as we execute on our re-branding and company development with the new business name, since it's much better than having no business card at all!

I looked into plastic business cards or flyers and nobody I could find locally would do them. When I did some research I found a company out of state that printed and cut them but the rate was sky high. For 500 cards it was like $500 plus shipping. I couldn't justify $1 per card but the frosted plastic business card has always been a dream of mine.

Looks really great!

How much did they charge you per card if you don't mind me asking?

Yes that pricing is about right, but if you buy more the cost gets lower. I know its pricey but I personally think its well worth it. :props:

I love resurrected threads! :)

Ohh yeah, you'll notice "local printers" are extremely limited in their printing abilities. They mostly service local small organizations and start-ups with remedial brochure and copy-type printing.

Online is truly where it's add for this endeavor. You can get cards made from carbon fiber, metal, silk... you can even opt to have die-cut cards in the shape of a Bugatti or have your cards trimmed in suede or fold into a pop-up book like a kid's story!

I recently went through an exhaustive "vetting" of online design and creative-print agencies. I suggest emailing at least 5-10 different businesses with your ideas, and have them come back with their own creative input and a quote. If they take a few first basic steps to try recruiting you as a client, chances are great they they'll continue along that line of service and focus once you're a customer (this also weeds out the slow or nonexistent companies that will not even give you the time of day).

By nature and profession I'm a researcher at heart, so I love diving into new territories and absorbing all there is to know about them. Marketing materials are paramount in the presentation of your business image and sets a crucial tone for your attention to detail and emphasis on finite minutia... which, in our industry is especially relevant :)

Good luck.

I completely revamped my logo, cards, website, and all graphics this past winter and I'm really pleased with it all. (It was pretty simple before). I'm planning on getting t-shirts done and new graphics updated graphics on the truck this winter to finish off the cohesive look.

Was really digging the plastic cards some of you had so I had to get some of my own. Snagged these up over at morningprint. For those of you looking for cheaper prices on plastic cards, I got these 200 for about $50 shipped. Next order I am going to try the silver premium ones since they show a reflection to play off my business name.
