Post Your Beading Shots!!!

11 month old uber ceramic spray coating topped with 50/50 mix of Meguiar's HCD & Sonax BSD. Pretty sure the topper is whats doing the beading at this point.

For the 1st month, probably best beader outside a true coating. Just fell off the face of the earth after that month.

I thought about using the Gyeon Wax, topped with Wet Coat but if durability is only a few months it's not worth it. I'd rather use FK1000p or Fusso.

In a rainy part of the country like Cracks it's only going to last a month or so but because it's so easy to apply AND how it looks, Gyeon Q2 Wax is awesome and is made to go ontop of coatings

Was that on a daily driver?

That car I have Q2 Wax on is a garage queen, so durability is not a top priority. I really liked the user experience and the gloss is brilliant. And as you alluded to, the water repellency of Q2 Wax is nothing like any wax I have ever used.

I had plans of using Q2 Wax on my daily Ranger, but I'm now thinking I will go with 845 or Power Lock instead for more durability.

Windshield this morning. Enjoyed the beads from below.

I had put some Griot's glass sealant on there (a few months ago?). Most recently has been the Griot's ceramic glass cleaner (a month ago) and ceramic wash & coat this past weekend.

I got a good 3 months out of it with great beading on a daily driver. Just not that intense beading like in the 1st month.

Probably as good as most LSP for next couple of months. Also LSP’s are gonna last years new in bottle. Why accept 70-80% performance when you got it on the shelf slowly going bad?

Was that enough cure time for that product?

I think Guz said it can get wet in about 4 hours? :dunno:
Yes in his video he states a 4 hour cure time for can coat...but suggests to leave it under roof if possible for 12-24hrs just to be safe, or apply cure if its going to be left outside as an insurance policy.

I dont have garage and dont have cure and the weather man lied to me lol.

Needless to say i will be purchasing gyeon cure for when i do our other two vehicles.

Any sio2 sealant will work after the cure time.
