Post Your Beading Shots!!!

Beading looks better than 3&1. Atleast judging by any pics ive seen

Absolutely.it does....I'm not sure I'll go back to 3 in 1...Meg's is so easy to use...I mean REALLY easy!
And I have black paint...no issues whatsoever...

Wait, you got 7 kits for $30 total? Or 7 kits at $30 each?

Either way, looks great!

I think Meguiar's didn't do a good job marketing it. For one thing, it doesn't contain Sio2 which in today's world is probably not a good idea. Hybrid paint coating was overshadowed by HCW.

I wondered about that..., but Megs has promoted the product as upkeeping it with their "hybrid ceramic" line, Ceramic Wash & Wax, M799, Ceramic Detailer, even Hybrid Ceramic Wax. So I think it will play nicely with any ceramic topper.

Personally I think people see the hybrid kit and say..."F" that...too much work ...too many steps.
The average Joe just wants a bottle/can and a rag.....LOL

Not sure it will ever catch on to the everyday consumer wanting to wax their car....plus the retail price..$65 is enough to deter people...

I don't know it seems most never heard of it and it went under the radar. Megs has some great products that I really thought were great - HCD, Hyper Wash, Quik Interior Detailer, Waterless Wash etc. They just lack a true coating/coating lite to be on similar level to a brand like Carpro IMO.

I am really curious how it stacks up against them, they will probably win in a shootout, but will the Megs coat be far behind or put up a respectable fight???
I know it didn't get alot of push by anyone, Markus Kleis was the only one putting word out about it. He had already left Meguiar's but was still raving about it and a big supporter of it.
I am interested to see results from the shootout mentioned in previous post.:hungry:

I think it can definitely hang with any coating lite based on what I've seen. Can Coat Evo is likely better overall but the Megs can hang with original CC I'm guessing.

Like Sonax PNS, you don't need Sio2 all the time there are other ways to make long lasting sealants.

Man those are great prices!!! Best price around here was...... oh wait.... we don't even get to look at the box in person up here. Thanks for the love Meguiar's:caflag::mad:

 don't forget the covid tests and the boarder precheck in, etc, etc. By the end of the week probably will be a 'driving a gas vehicle fee' added.

This was my request on one of Scott HD hoods this past month and after 3 weeks it is already starting to fail.....everyone is shocked.

Yeah I’ve gotten 3+ months on a car that actually moves….. in the rain. Sits outside 24 hours. Also seen enough reviews to know his results in the minority so probably an application issue.

Here’s one going strong at 8 weeks.

8 Week Update Adams Graphene Spray Coating Vs Ceramic Spray Coating! - YouTube

Never was a real big Scott HD fan HD’s testing and lost all respect for him during PanGate.

the product I'm talking about wasn't even invented when that video was made.

Gold label graphene"Advanced"

You can watch him polish the hoods and spray the product on...I doubt it was application error...
wether you like him or not...all the products are on the same playing field.
he doesn't choose favorites...

Could simply be a bad batch of product..

Same product as video just new and improved (more resin same chemist). Could be bad batch as this first bad review I have seen.

And I have had better results than what he’s showing with the older version. I trust my results in my weather. real world with rain and road film.

Also seems he got nearly a year from older version so maybe more isn’t better. Keep us updated on the winner.

Is'nt graphene spray coating in general lose hydrophobic propeties quite fast. But the sheeting is hanging on quite long in comparison with ceramic spray coatings. It's a different with full blown graphene coatings as most seems to be holding up great. Seems like it's the name of the game in general with graphene spray coatings. I have tried my first graphene product Angelwax Atomic QED. It seemed failed after 4 weeks. But had not seen so many tests on graphene spray coatings before. So it still sheeting at a slow speed. I topped it again some weeks ago. And will see how it behaves at the next wash. Maybe it has a great base protection. And then you need to be maintain the hydrophobic propeties of it. Know that Angelwax Atomic QED is like a QD and topper. They are releasing new products at the moment. They have a graphene coating but that is only for the licensed installer to be useing. They have released Resurection Extreme which is a heavy cut compound that seems interesting. The domestic distributer had Angelwax at them and showed them new products in the making.
