Ime, smaller, tighter beads appear on my vehicles when I have a fresh coat of sealant or wax on them. As the wax degrades, the beads get larger and start to lose shape (aren't as round and are irregular).
Look at all the good beading pics in this thread and they are all small, perfectly round, and tight beads. That's a sign of good protection.

The reason I asked I used too little OC2 and my beads on roof were conspicuously large. Fine in other spots. I went ahead and applied a second layer today. These are pre-second layer OC2 pictures:

For me, horizontal panels don't bead the same as vertical panels. That could explain your roof situation.
Do you happen to park under a tree? That will absolutely kill beading, especially if it rains and you're parked under a tree. You might need to clay your roof if the opticoat has cured and see if the beading returns strong.
