I thought you guys would have some REAL water beading shots! Jk haha. This is on my old FJ Cruiser. It was an 07 that looked better than new in 2014. I can't find another pic I had with my finger next to the water beads, but some of them were standing up a 1/4"! I could just bump the truck and all the water would just sheet off the hood. I used EcoSmart waterless wash, medium clay bar, V34 polish with DA and white hexalogic pad, and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0. That sealant is the best I've tried so far and I'm in love with it.

A few days after waxing, we had a nice little down pour. Decided to snap a pic :)

Collinite 915 from 2 weeks ago. It rained today just when I was in the middle of a rinseless wash. Guess I gotta pay more attention to the weather reports...

I will add mine soon, In the mean time, is there a perfect "bead". Meaning should there be certain size, consistent shape bead, large, small???

Ime, smaller, tighter beads appear on my vehicles when I have a fresh coat of sealant or wax on them. As the wax degrades, the beads get larger and start to lose shape (aren't as round and are irregular).
Look at all the good beading pics in this thread and they are all small, perfectly round, and tight beads. That's a sign of good protection.

Not entirely true. Heavy rains can leave large beads amongst the smaller beads. Good, fresh protection results in tight beads, no matter the shape, especially in larger beads.

I'd have to agree, this is just after a good ole tropical Florida torrential down pour, Blackfire Spray Carnauba good stuff!
