4 hours. I believe i read that’s how long Moonlight takes to cure.

I wonder how much of that result is Moonlight vs Adams's coating.

I topped Moonlight a week after application with Meguiar's M799. At first it looked ok and there was lots of hydrophobicity. I think M799 a had a negative impact on Moonlight's durability though and the combo quicky went from coating like behavior to average sealant behavior.

I may have applied M799 too soon or the combo just didn't work well together.

I had these in a 4 way coating lite test I had on my hood of my mustang before i wrecked. These two performed the best and if i had to give one an edge that month it would have been the Adams.... barely.

I do feel the Tac will last longer though and thats why i put it on the bottom

My wife’s Rosie got a cleaning yesterday. But, it’s Spring and you know what happens in the Spring.

Drove through a lot rain earlier today and the self cleaning was spectacular, not sure about this round, we’ll see later this evening!

After multiple days of rain DP Need for Bead is still doing well. It was applied two weeks ago after a wash.

Anything underneath it?

FinishKare 1000P applied about 11 months ago. And it wasn't really beading anymore but could still be there protecting the paint? My Jeep needs light polishing and protection, but figured I'd use the DP after a wash until I get the time to detail it.

Only downside is that Need for Bead does attract dust in my experience.

Where's all the cool pictures of water laying flat?

You now, the opposite of water beading? Water sheeting.

Oh yeah, now I remember, water laying flat doesn't look cool.

Wouldn't that require a thread named "Post Your Sheeting Shots!!!"

Start your ten thousandth thread.

Have you considered #476 for the roof

I hadn't, but I am now. So far whatever I put on the roof isn't lasting as long as it does on the rest of the car. I thought the hood would be worse with heat from the engine, but I guess it's the single stage paint on the roof that has the biggest impact.
