Post Your Beading Shots!!!

Leftover from last night's thunderstorm. Hasn't been washed for a few weeks, but the rain was enough to lift most of the dirt off. I'd have to go back through my posts to see what I last put on it, probably NV Jet.

Impressive! How is holding up overall?

There are definitely some weaker spots here and there such as the lower portion of the doors/rockers. After some heavy rain the self cleaning properties are still apparent. Bird droppings clean up nicely without any etching which leads me to believe the chemical resistant aspect is still intact. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

The say a 12+ months. Maybe decon wash and top up if paint is still good?

It’s $35 on the South American river…

I plan to polish and apply 2 layers in a couple months which is what meguiar's recommends. Currently there is only 1 layer and it is still holding up decently, which makes it all the more impressive. I bought it for $20 on clearance and now in hindsight I wish I would have bought more.

On a fresh coat of WGDGPS, four days old.

This is on a 2013 Silverado after WG Swirl Remover, WG Finishing Glaze, Colonite 845 and 303 Graphene Nano Spray. The Graphene was an after thought to see how long it will last. In the future, I'm switching to Blackfire One and the 303 Graphene.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from. But it makes you wonder if they wax up the glasses and cans for the ads, to maximise the beads.

Between you and Big Dave talking about it, I’ve been trying to find a proper chicken salt here in US.

What brands do y’all use out there?

There are a few different brands, and they vary from state to state, and even city to city, but none of the store bought stuff tastes as good as what you get in a Fish n Chip shop, but I found this formula online, I may give this a try, as I've almost used mine up.

The ingredients are:

6 Tbsp table salt

3 Tbsp chicken stock

3 Tbsp garlic powder

3 Tbsp sweet paprika

1 Tsp white pepper

1 Tsp onion powder

1 Tsp Celery seeds

And just because, here's a beading shot from 3 years ago, when I still had vinyl on the hood.

If you walk into a fish n chip shop and ask what is in chicken salt, you become a missing person. I had the pleasure last week to hold a container of chicken salt to salt my chip's

And all i felt was power pure powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
