What do you use this green brush for?

I got something like that today and wanted to know if I should use it for paint or for area around the wheels where most of the stuff get trapped near the wheels. Can I use it for both? Or just stick to paint or around the wheels?

I wanted to know should I use this to wash tough to reach spots, like hood and under the fender near the wheels?

Here a pic

Is this safe on paint?

The only paint I would use that on would be a real beater car, but that's just me. I have both the long and short handled versions of that brush that are used for:

  • Wheels
  • Wheel Wells
  • Underside of hood washing
  • Engine bay plastics
For paint I only use chenille wash pads or lambs wool mitts. This is all just my personal opinion so please keep that in mind.

:iagree:not really paint safe IMO!
:iagree::iagree:
I used one of them brushes on a wheel well and it scratched it,DEFINETELY wouldn't use it on the paint!

I have been thinking the same thing. After reading the reviews online I am considering ordering it.

Me too man. I love my air freshener though! It may sound gay, but Bath & Body Works has the best auto air fresheners ever! They're called Scentportables or something. Of course you can't just slap them in customers car but for your own DD they're great. I'd like the CG Stripper for a change though.

No, I wouldn't use it for paint it's a little rough for that. I use it for wheels, wheel wells, tires, engine bay-gets down on the lower side of the firewall and doghouse really well and under the hood. When detailing trucks I also use it on the frame rails, underbody, bedliners and the inside of the rear bumpers wher the majority of mud sits. It's a great brush-very versatile.

Here is my stuff................ The pics are a few months old but they work.

Shawn, I think I saw TWO non Meguiar's products in that

I cannot really say what it smells ( more like flower than fruit/sweet ), but it smells real good and it will last like 2-3 days max ( more like 2 ).

The bottle is cool, I think it's worth the buy only for that! ahah

Here's a few pics of my "collection" - certainly not the prettiest corner of the garage, but hey, it works.

the four shelves on the left contain mostly my stuff - assorted samples, ONR, odds and ends junk, interior towels, window towels (for use with glass sealants but not window cleaner), terry towels, interior brushes, interior cleaners and protectants, my G110v2, and extra stuff (mainly additional of something, like if I have a second bottle of DP Auto Bath it goes somewhere on that shelving unit)

wheel and spoke brushes

Cobra towels and a few CG towels are in the green bin, edgeless towels and Supreme Shines are in the bottom clear bin, clean foam applicators are in the top clear bin

waxes and sealants, extra wash mitts, extension cord, Autogeek apron

glass cleaners, clay bars, clay lubricants, car washes, spray waxes, quick detailers, waterless washes, paint cleaners, polishes, and compounds are on this shelf

pretty much everything else is on the bottom two shelves - glass towels, waffle weaves, door jam towels, foaming carpet cleaner, APC and APC+, tire dressings, trim dressings, plastic cleaners and sealant, Brinkmann, compressed air cans, TAW and DP Cleanse-All, large bottles of car wash, degreasers, assorted tire and wheel brushes, tools (hose nozzles and connectors, foam gun, etc.), and gallon jugs. Polishing pads and extra sprayers, tire swipes, and microfiber applicators are in the bottom gray bin on the right. In the top bin is Meguiar's stuff I take to work at the Honda dealership with me.

Here's my collection, it's mostly stuff that I just tried along the way and don't use much anymore. This coming year my goal is to use it all up and then stick with the few products that I use nowadays. Less is more type stuff.
