Isn't that kind of soon? I thought you had pretty low mileage on that ride.


It's only a valve adjustment - not really a "valve job". The S54 has solid lifters (that's what's in the box) - so you want to do it about every 25k.
 
Steve, I see on the first page you picked up the Continental DW. What are your thoughts on them? (My 335i has them)


They seem good to me. I'm not into racing or anything - so the car is only driven at maybe 70%. I'll stick with Contis because the factory Contis lasted 45k - which is unheard of in an M Car.

A couple of BMWs ago I went through some Falkens and Yokohamas - they I can say sucked. I didn't go with Michelin PSSs because they don't have the wear rating of the Contis.
