Post your MicroFibers

I know this may be taking the thread in a different direction....All of these towels has me wondering....Which is the best MF Detergent to use....I have been using the Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator....If anybody knows of a thread or review on this...love to read it....:thankyousign:

I like the CG microfiber wash. Has a citrus scent and does a good job. However I have switched to regular free and clear detergent and it works just as good lol.

Lol that's funny. My wife thinks im crazy but garage time is me time. No kids just me and my garage.
 
I use CG Microfiber WASH+ now, happy with the results it produces.

When I opened up a package that had a Cloud 9 XL drying towel and Miracle Dryer Absorber Deluxe Super Premium my wife loved them. Very soft on skin since she just had cancer surgery.
 
New towel from CarPro USA; the BOA.

This towel is a 16x24" towel with a 70/30 blend. It's is edgeless and made of Korean microfiber. CarPro states the weight at 350 gsm. However, they also state it's made of a special "circular raised microfiber cloth" that makes it feel and work like a 500 gsm towel. I'll validate that as being true.

This towel is extremely soft, probably one of the softest available. The nap is the same on both sides and has a shag type of feel. If you have soft paint on a dark car, I don't think you find a better towel to buff it than this.

The towel is "borderless" or edgeless, and the ends look like they were just "cut" - no hems or stitching

Basically this is just an all around excellent towel. If I didn't have so many towels already, I would certainly be getting more of these. I like the larger size, that way you can fold it in threes - rather than in halfs.

This is a first class towel for removing waxes, sealants, or quick detailing a car. It could be used for a GP towel, but its too nice to get stained or soiled.

I think you can only get these from the CaPro USA website, but AG should start carrying these.

If anyone knows what "BOA" stands for, please feel free to fill me in.

Or you can get 2 CG Sasquatch towels for < $10.

If you take care of your towels, they will outlast almost anything in a bottle or a tub you will buy detailing wise.

For me, the Cobras are too "heavy" or "dense" (for lack of a better description). Although they are soft, - towels with a longer nap work better for me, the Cobras just don't want to stay folded when they are soaked for some reason - just my experience.

I have one of these towels. Mainly use it for QD and taking off wax. Haven't tried using a rinseless wash with it yet though.

I think it's kind of expensive actually for a rinseless towels. I'm planning to buy at least 10 towels.

What you guys think about these towels from CG Orange Banger Professional Extra Thick Microfiber Towels, Orange 16.5 x 16.5 (6 Pack)
 
I picked up some of the 16.5 x 24 of the Orange Banger microfibers from CG. They seem pretty decent, but I haven't had a chance to use them.
 
has anyone tried the sonus or ultima towels? they are pricy (i guess about the same as cobras) but im wondering if they are worth the cash...im talking abotut eh red and blue bordered ones.

im honestly not over the moon with my cobras (grey and purples).
 
with the 20% off I would like to pick up some towels from AG for some rinseless washes using the Garry Dean's method.

Sonus der wonder towel is a great wax and polish removal towel.

The most luxurious thus far. Definitely of the premium category. I have four in the inventory. Going to order 20 more and call it a day. After QD-ing the vehicles the second time around (especially the motorbike), I do prefer folding into three over the standard 16x16 double. Maneuvering around tight spots is a breeze due to its edgeless design. Try this with a 16x24 border towel and it's simply awkward. Next up is the 1616 Edgeless from Metropolitan Detail. Hopefully they would be the last sample. I think I'm going to stop fishing for MF before I go insane.


Also, from what I've gathered - the BOA & AG's Woobie are basically identical (except for color and size, obviously).

Mind sharing what they are?

Also they look very clean. What do you use to wash them?
