Here's my latest order. Good thing I order one of them brushes! I'm pretty sure had I not they would have been cleaned out *looks to rzatch*

I'm going to have to take a pic of the 5" HD backing plate and the 3" HD backing plate. The loops are totally different on the 5" HD backing plate. On the 3" HD backing plate, the loops are like the yellow backing plates...small and tight.

Nice order Alex. Looks like you got an old bottle of 106fa though :(. Luckily that wasnt a formula change...

Damn...I just checked ADS and sure enough...I got an old bottle. Not sure how I feel about that.
 
Well look at it this way. Even if it is the old stuff it was still good enough that you wanted some. I know it's sometimes just the point of thinking your getting the newest product unless otherwise stated that doesn't sit well. Still a nice order though. Sometime I would like to try the Menz products.

This has happened on other occasions with other products that have changed. Not gonna mention anything publicaly but you can pm me for more info.

This happened to me. I wanted the new version of Power Finish but I got a old label. The new label of PF is a different product than the one in the white label bottle. But that's not my duty to tell people, so I will let AG or Menz inform the masses.

I do not like how the new labeled bottles are pictured but the old labels are being sent out. To me that is just wrong.
I was given a hard time initally about getting a bottle replaced and was told I had to pay to ship it back to exchange for a new one. I feel that I got a mis-represented product and shouldn't have had to pay shipping. After I contacted Menz and verified that PF is indeed two different products from white to new label(and shared this with AG) did AG then offer to swap out, eating the shipping cost. It was to late as I had already ordered a new labeled product from a different supplier.

That sucks to hear man. Seems like they should have eaten the shipping even if they weren't wrong, just to keep a customer happy....

Why would you want the new version? From what I heard(thought I could be wrong), the new version is less aggressive than the old.
 
Yeah Jim...I'm kinda annoyed at the fact I got an old bottle especially, as you said, they're advertising with the new label. My concern is that the bottle was sitting on the shelf for a long time and I highly doubt someone is walking around the warehouse shaking up bottles.

You are correct in saying it is less aggressive. It really doesn't matter why I wanted it. I paid my hard earned money for it and that is what I wanted!

Not to sound rude tho.


And if you must know, I wanted to try it out as it may be a perfect second step to a compound that I use. Since the new label is less aggressive, it also finishes down better according to Menz. If you have used the white label PF, you know it finishes really nice and if the newer PF finishes even better then there may be a use for it in my polishing needs!
