Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Does anyone know what psi or GPM the typical coin op produces? Can this 1 do equivalent to the coin op? If so I might get 1 and a new Flexzilla hose and a nice stubby gun. I haven’t even thought about foam but I guess that’s an added +

The coin op pressure is actually pretty low since joe blow down the street might have the nozzle point blank on the paint trying to remove dried on bird droppings from months ago, it's a liability thing. The ryobi unit you have pictured won't have a problem with lacking psi.

If you really want to be el cheapo you can shop around and get a decent hose/nozzle/foam cannon for around another $100-$150 and have a solid setup for $250.

While you would sacrifice some pressure, which wouldn't be a bad thing as the 2300psi is up there for car washing, you could probably open up the nozzle orifice to ramp up the flow rate.

Yeah already did that with an MTM acqualine nozzle gaurd. Got a couple generics off of Amazon that seem nice as well with verying degrees. With proper distance it’s been fine

With the 2.5 40 degree it gets 1100 psi. I loved mine and hold onto it as a spare.

i was gonna buy one of these below but wasn't sure when you tighten the knob to adjust the length, if it could slip/slide and potentially cause damage. don't know how secure it is...

didn't know they made such things. are the trunk rods intended to be used when you have to drive with the hatch open?

there suppose to be used for PDR/body work, etc. (machine polishing for many as well). i wouldn't use them while driving though, not to say that you couldn't...

I've been thinking about asking my nephew to 3D print one of these for me, so I can drive with my back window open in summer, but I'm not sure if fumes and dust would be sucked in. The dogs would probably enjoy it though.

I don't even want to think about the impression you Aussie's have of us Americans from watching the Simpsons. D'oh!

I haven’t bought a sponge since the grout sponge craze 15 or so years ago

Let me know what you think

I ended up buying the Ryobi a couple of days ago. I’ve used it twice so far with the hose that it came with and it passed the 1st and most important test which was being able to clean my whitewalls touchless. That alone is worth the price of admission.

The Ryobi hose is super short, so I ordered a Yamatic 50’ hose that arrived today and seems to be good based on the reviews + it came with a full set of quick connects. [they shipped the connections separately]
