Posting pictures in reply to thread

Each time I attach pictures they show as thumbnails rather than embedded right below the text. What am I doing wrong? I read the forum guidelines and instructions for posting pictures but they always show as thumbnails.

Thanks! I'm using a MacBook Air and Safari browser. When I click the Upload Photos link my browser can't open it. Does anyone have experience using Safari and uploading pictures?
 
If you are posting pics from your AG account, there are two links that show up when looking at the pics. One is for thumbnails, the other is for the large pic.
 
I haven't been able to download pictures from my phone to the AG gallery for some time now. Gallery page never loads.

I since started useing imagur to down load then I post to here. It only lets me download one pic at a time, but that was the same with the AG gallery too.
