And it's about time we fix the damn roadsThey suck in Michigan too. The good news is I have a lot of sidewall on my Jeep.

Those of us that live in the northeast have to deal with destroyed roads this time of year until our local municipals get on the repairs.
My area is a mess right now... can’t go out without dodging huge potholes.
The husband had to have a rim repaired the other day... bent the crap outta it trying to just get to the post office
How are the rest of you all fairing?
Off thread to Dave..have you heard that Biden's Major is biting 15% of the white house staff. This is after having behavioral classes.:wowwow:Hey Mo!! I hope you and Dave are doing well, other than bending rims in the atrocious PA potholes!! I miss you guys!! I keep the air pressure lower this time of year to provide a little more protection for the tire itself. Luckily I haven't had to replace or repair any rims, knock on wood. I've shut down the garage up there and am back to doing mobile detailing work this year!! Please say hi to Dave for me!! Hopefully we'll be able to get together again sometime now that they're getting the Covid19 immunizations underway.

Same here in NY Monica. And NJ is no picnic either. Driving into NJ through NYC and back will cost at least $30 in tolls.:

I'm not in New England, but I've noticed our micro-Ice Age in February really did a number on the roads.
The normal winter freeze/thaw cycle always leads to some problems on streets, but lately I'm seeing holes opening up on our highways which can make things rather exciting when you try to dodge them and avoid all the other traffic. You also get stuck with the "no-win" situations too. We visited some friends in KC two weeks ago and when exiting the highway, the lane for the exit ramp was bordered by a seam in the asphalt. The freeze/thaw had completely destroyed that seam the ENTIRE length of the exit ramp! Getting off the highway became a, "brace for impact" scenario in my car. You just take a line that hopefully gets you across the holes in the shortest distance you can safely cross the canyon that formed between the lanes.
