Hi,

Doing my first detailing. 03 Toyota Landcruiser with off road mods, metallic silver.

I learned enough here to try my hand at detailing on this forum.
Thanks for all the great info.

Used: wash, clay bar, M105, M205, Klasse AIO, Klasse Sealant (3 coats). Oh, also did wheels, tires, glass.

Lots of work but looking great. One question. I have Slee black powder coated rock sliders. Kinda dull, blah black. How can I shine/blacken these guys?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dave

If they have been abused with harsh chemicals they may be permanently damaged

I don't want you to think I am a total Jerk for asking, but could you please post a picture or two so we can better understand the current condition of the wheels and give specific recommendations based on the photos?

Some people are really sensitive when you ask for photos to try and help them, so I realize I am on eggshells here

Photos as requested. I hope, this is my first try at uploading photos to this forum.

One photo of vehicle, one closeup of powder coated rock sliders.

These rock sliders are tubular steel.

It looks like they were satin black when new. Try giving them a thorough cleaning then if they look fairly even, treat with a proven trim restorer like PERL or Hyper Dressing, or something more long-lasting like Black Wow or Dlux.
