I use it on really really neglected paint, it works magic, and it doesn't take long, meaning you don't have to spend long periods of time on each section, it does dust, but it does require a follow up with a lighter polish.

Well, if it's anything like the other Menzerna polishes I have like PO85RD3.02 and 3.00 then the orange pad will work great, and finish LSP ready. The thing with the PG is that I haven't read enough reviews to get a feel for it. I would think with a yeallow cutting pad, followed by and orange pad would give me the results I'm after, until then, I would wait for the Flex to be off the backorder list and order one

I have used it numerous times and it works best with a wool pad. then just follow up with polish and a foam pad. I have been working with menzerna for over three years and this is the best combo.
I've done a few Corvettes, including mine that way, and I've been happy with the outcome. I do hear what you say about maximum gloss, but the difference is so minimal that usually a good LSP will compensate for that...

It's *nothing* like the SRC polishes and pretty much will leave the surface in need of additional polishing. It's also much easier to use with wool than any other pad that I've used it with. You will play a lot less tug of war with wool and PG.

Goose, I own a vette and have done numerous ones and I can not agree with your above statement about sip and orange.
I'm not using the SIP found here in the States. I have ordered my stuff directly from Europe; more specific I've got the PO85RD3.02 and the PO85RD3.00 I'm not sure if this means anything or not, or how it may differ from the SIP we get here as I haven't tried yet
But i can honestly say i've been getting good results with it. The CC on the vettes is as hard as a rock, and it takes quite a bit of work with a PC. That said, having gotten used to Menzerna, i can finish LSP ready. Of course the point was made that I'm not getting maximum gloss, and I couldn't agree more. I think if I can follow up with my PO85RD that I would see some nice jeweled finish. Normally that takes a bit of time longer, and most customers don't want to spend the money...

I understand which menzerna you are using, I have this also, but I still do not agree with your statement.

I have got PG to finish down LSP ready with the Cyclo and PC. With maximum gloss. It can be done but it takes some time and pressure to get the abrasives to work down.
Remember.......detailers are like Olympic athletes. They are all good but some excel at doing certain things better than others. Then you have the Jesse Owens that can do it all right!
You simply just have to try out techniques. This is why some can only achieve the best finish by doing three steps on the paint when some can do it in one simple step.

Trying to deterimine how to get paint LSP ready with pad "X" and product "X" will have you chasing you tail to no end.
There is no simple answer to that question.
I will say that I have NEVER gotten paint LSP ready with PG..
My most used combo that gets paint lsp ready is SIP with a green LC CCS pad (not the AG green pad, my green pads are softer than orange but more firm than white).

You're telling me you can get the paint to finish with the same amount of gloss using PG compared to 106 or 85rd?
If you honestly finish a car down with PG and dont see a benefit going over it with a finishing polish then something is wrong. I also find your post pretty funny considering you dont understand how/ when to use the Menzerna polishes. That obviously shows here!
You must not be looking at the finish correctly. Just because it doesnt have imperfections does not necessarily mean its LSP ready.
It really isnt that difficult. Some people just dont care to use products how they were intended to be used. They just want to get it done as fast as possible.
