PRE-ORDER: Rupes LHR 12E Duetto & LHR 75E Mini Polishers!

Gonna pass on this. $450 for a 3 inch polisher and extras that most people that want a 3 inch polisher already have is just too much.

While I'm sure they are worth it, the prices even without being offered in a kit are going to be a little much for some...

$450 for the 3" polisher kit?
Good lawwwwwdddd

Yeah I'll stick with my GG3" for a couple more months. That $$$$ is a bit over the top

LHR 75E $199.00

LHR 12E $229.00

I think these would be reasonable prices based upon the quality and performance of these machines.

AG this thread should be a red flag for you. If a bunch of pro and enthusiast detailers that will gladly pay $50+ for a jar of wax, $15 for a single towel, and spend thousands per year on luxury products are telling you this costs WAY too much, this is too much.

I was hoping the mini kit would be around $250. I might not have jumped on it, but at least I could see myself eventually paying that.

It's just not worth that amount of money for a 3 inch polisher. You can't tell me that my PCXP with a 3 inch BP has that much less power and rotation than the Rupes, especially for the price.

Just my .02 :)

I'm sure some dude in China is working on a larger throw small polisher right now.

I agree. The thing weighs over 5lbs. But the market will take care of it. It will either be worth it and they will sell, or not be worth it and they will slash the price.

Is anyone here buying one of these things? So far we have a list of a lot of people not buying.

I guess I'll never be able to own one, bummer. I'll keep using my Griots, which, I got for $65 brand new.

Looks like all the sites that have this new machine for sale are offering it in the same "Value Package".

I suppose that means it was directed by RUPES that it be launched as a kit.

I will be waiting for the single units . Do not need all the other stuff .

Yes your correct, that's because Rupes is only allowing them to sell them in the kits, they have no choice. Boy did Rupes miscalculate on this launch. They should have done more marketing research about us detailers and our hot buttons :dblthumb2:

PC with 3" backing plate....done. That's crazy pricing, stand alone I bet your still looking at $175?

It doesn't take much to stop the PC with a 3" backing plate from spinning in my experience. Jusy my observation from using it, not really much good in tight spaces.
