Be sure to check out Todd Helme's review: RUPES BigFoot Mk.II vs. Ferrari Daytona

The Mark II versions of the RUPES LHR 21 and LHR 15 feature 30% more power and efficiency (closer to 40% but who wants to brag), improved electronic controls, more RPM, and a more rugged body. In addition, when teamed up with the careful RUPES BigFoot pads and compounds, these tools deliver legendary Italian performance that leaves other tools and countries scratching their heads.

This is so difficult. I've been wanting to upgrade my Rupes 15 for a while now. I have to choose between a Rupes 21 MarkII and a Flex XCE.

First world problems. :(

I'm leaning towards the Rupes...

Rupes....the master of the long throw DA.

I have to pass, I have too many tools as it is, I think 6 or 7 at this point.

But if I were going to upgrade my LHR15 I'd go with the Mark II for sure.

Will there be an HD version available for pre-order? I really like the 25 foot cord.

The same for me, except I have a 21 and want a 15. Thought I wanted a Rupes but Flex rained on that party. I guess I will wait to see some reviews. Plus, I, dont know the Flex price yet. But Mike said the Flex is the AMG of long throws: so I take it that the Flex is really nice

Eventually, but not before the end of the year.

Jason Rose from Rupes was nice enough to leave a 15 MarkII for us to use at our booth yesterday and boy, what an awesome machine. Speed 4 on the MarkII feels more powerful than speed 6 on the current machine.

Outstanding job Rupes. :dblthumb2:

So what are your thoughts on the Flex 15, Nick? I told myself I was gona get a Rupes 15, but I wasnt expecting Flex to release a long throw

Tough choice for sure.

FLEX feels more robust, RUPES feels more refined.

If you're a FLEX fan, then the XFE will feel right at home. If you're a RUPES fan, well, then the 15 or 21 is the obvious choice.

I have a feeling that a lot of people will end up with both the XFE and the new MarkII RUPES (15 or 21, or both) in their arsenal. It might not make "sense" to some people, but if you're anything like me - the more tools you have the better.

I've been saying I don't need it but I think it's time to retire my old Rupes and get this. It's always nice having a good arsenal of machines at your disposal :)
