Preferred way to use Aqua Wax?

I use it primarily as a drying aid now. If you use it straight, be sure to go light with it. AW can cloud the paint as someone mentioned before, especially if you wash your car as often as we all do. I think this is what some may refer to when they say it can "mute the flake."

I've got a dedicated bottle of the Fast Clean and Shine mixed with AquaWax as well. It's a wonderful quick detailer with an added boost for shine.

Smells amazing too. Reminds me of the beach from the comfort of my garage :xyxthumbs:

Yep the smell is almost addicting.:xyxthumbs:

Another vote for using while the car is wet. Mainly during rinse less washes. Wipe/clean a panel... spray... then wipe dry.

Like others have mentioned, I use this after rinseless washes.

Optimum No Rinse wash (two bucket) and spray on while vehicle is still wet. I use a microfiber towel to dry the vehicle and BAM! You have a washed and waxed car in less than 30 minutes. Can't beat it.

Thats what I do too. I add 20% AW to FC&S. Great combo as a QD.

Yeah.... wonder where that idea of mixing the two 75/25 came about. :D

Both do have their own distinct aroma for sure. But it's that mixing of them that REALLY does something. I even wrote to Dr. Bill (@ Duragloss) after he suggested to me I try mixing them that they could save a TON of money on scent if they'd cut it back a bit. When mixing them for that special 'brew', if doing it in an enclosed garage it can actually be a bit overcoming.

OTOH, it's a great 'brew' for SURE! :dblthumb2:

Hey, no doubt about it. I learned of this mixture from Georgia's Cardaddy, himself.
Yup, one of the better tips I've learned from him. I'm surprised DG hasn't bottled this and sold it.

How is the back doing???:dblthumb2:

Just put the tip in the tip jar at the end of rhe bar.

Ahhhhh the back.
Went and got ANOTHER arthrogram this morning. (Last one was in December.) Sorta levitated off the table during this one (what with no anesthesia). :(

It's very SORE about now.
