Prep before gtechniq application

Hello fellas!.. my questions today is: can you apply a coating (cq, gtechniq, etc) after you polish your car with in my case menzerna 3 in 1?? I know the menzerna has wax wich is oily and I am wondering if the coating will bond correctly!!??... inputs highly appreciate it! And Happy 4th of july to everyone!!
