prepairing 51/2 foam pad for Colinite 845

I know I have to put Colinite 845 on thin but what do I prime a dry pad with...water or some Megs 135 spray detailer?

Sorry I`m new here and thought there were different parts and different forums. Anyway thanks for your help. huh

EDIT I`ll just lurk around a bit because there a bunch that arn`t to frienly here and franklt I`ve found places to buy product cheaper. Have a good one huh
