I was curious myself regarding Optiseal so i checked on the optimum forums' FAQ section:

Dose Opti-seal lock in my Carnauba?
"No. The solvents will dissolves carnauba floating it to the top of the
Opti-Seal. This fact holds true with any solvent based WOWA sealant.
The carnauba is not removed just repositioned.

Both methods in theory should give the same results. If it were me I would apply the Carnauba first.
Doing this will help the foam applicator pad glide across the paint much easier."

As I say, that has been the subject of some discussion. Personally, I don't get why somebody wouldn't just put the sealant on first, rather than counting on the sealant dissolving the wax and "floating" it to the top. Having the foam applicator glide across the paint doesn't ring true to me, and besides, I would think you are applying with the DA anyway. I hope that poster isn't suggesting that the sealant foam applicator is damaging the surface in the process of applying the sealant, but that putting the wax on first will prevent damage to the paint?? And then another poster says Opti-Seal, Souveran, Opti-Seal, so go figure.
