This car also belonged to the owner of the red S2K I just posted. This car is absolutely INCREDIBLE! The owner said it should be pushing somewhere near 350whp and this car is super lightweight! This car is tracked/auto-x'd quite often and actually just got back from one just before I detailed it as you can tell from the blue painters tape..haha! this car is so fast, the Targa flew off Fast and Furious style going over 120mph on the interstate and it SURVIVED!! :-o

This is the only damage the Targa sustained from its flight at 120mph on the highway!

After being compounded and polished..

A couple test 50/50 shots, the best I could capture on the camera with this color.

All the plastic trim, painted edges and the clear bra were taped off to prevent any damage from the buffer..

looks awesome!!! love that color too. How long did this take you start to finish? I'm so beat after just a 2 step polish and LSP.

Looks great Billy! Im the MAN

So how the heck did the roof come off anyway? He forget to latch it?

Actually since half the car was either plastic or wrapped in clear bra, I only spent about 13 hours on it from start to finish including the engine bay and also a interior vacuum/wipedown.

No the top actually SCREWS on instead of latching, but one of the holding points came loose somehow and he was doing a nice high speed run on the interstate in the triple digits and I guess the wind got underneath it and ripped it off sending it flying in the air. It went so high it landed on the opposite side of a 4 lane highway in the grass!! Luckily it didnt hit anyone and it only had a few scratches is the craziest part of it all! I would have thought it would shatter upon impact!

To what ratio do you dilute your APC+ when detailing the engine? (I asked on Honda-Tech, but I think the website is having problems)

Id have to go look again, its been a little while since I made a new bottle. I just have it at whats Megs has on the back label(if you have a bottle of it to look at).

I'd guess he did 4:1. I don't think 10:1 would be strong enough.

I just did the recommended dilution from the back of the bottle. I do believe it was 4:1.
