Presidential Railcar US No.1

I'm so excited. I can't thank Autogeek enough for this opportunity. The Ferdinand Magellan, presidential railcar U.S. No.1. There is only one!!

***Update***

It's the day after the railcar detail project and everyone is pretty much wipe-out! This was a huge undertaking with a total of 20 guys buffing at the same time.

I posted a lot of pictures to my Facebook page on the fly including a picture of each guy working on the train. I'll be back into the office tomorrow and will share some pictures of the process and the results.

Wow, 16 Rupes polishers and how many gallons of product. The rail car looks incredible. I look forward to reading more.

That single stage paint must have had you guys cleaning/replacing your pads often.

Cool Mike, what a great opportunity for Joe, yourself, and everyone involved, can't wait to see the results!:hungry:

:applause::applause::applause: beautiful thats one for the history books

A shout out to AutoGeek , Rupes and Detailer Helper for supplying all the products we needed to make this project possible. Good to see Jose , Mike and Jason leading the project and helping us along the way. Thankful for all the team members ( new and old ) that gave of their time and putting up with this old man. Already looking forward to any new projects the future may bring.

what an awesome opportunity to work on such an amazing piece of American history!
Thanks to Autogeek and RUPES, Jose Fernandez and Mike Phillips, it was an honor working with you guys!

Just the logistics of choosing detailers, getting everyone together, lodging, etc.,etc.,etc. just blow my mind. And we haven't even gotten to the work at hand. Congratulations to all that were part of this fantastic historical restoration project. You deserve a bow :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Thanks for thinking of that. Logistics can be a challenge. For example the museum opens at 10am. I requested a start time of 8am. I was told somebody would be there at 8 to open up for us. Long story short, we jumped the the fence at 8:30 -LOL. The stress of the logistics is minimized when the team consists of professionals like we had on this project.

awsome way cool glad i could take part over the internet.
