Hurry up and make up your mind already lol. I'm in the market for one also, and its either a karcher k series from HD or the green works from Lowes. I guess whichever color I like better at the time will be the one I get because they both seem very similar.

Actually that's the one I'm aiming for. My buddy is a manager at homedepot and is going to try and see if he can mark down a unit as a display unit and give me a good deal on it.The CleanForce 1,800 psi 1.5 GPM Axial Cam Heavy-Duty Electric Pressure Washer is not in the running? It sounds like a solid unit - one I may eye when I walk into HD soon.
Yeah I was not really thinking about AR I had seen your threads on it. Thanks for the heads up.
Just picked up the clean force 1800 psi pw at home depot. Signed up for a credit acct and got 10% off plus I was able to use a Lowes 10% coup. 179 Ltd with a foamer attachment. Will was tonight and let you know how I like it.

Sorry for not updating sooner. Had a detail this weekend and have been busy with work so no time to update till now.
IMHO skip on the clean force pressure washer. There really wasn't anything I liked about it other than the price. The design is poor, making the unit top heavy and prone to tipping over. There are 2 plastic casters that might allow you to use the unit lying down, but then your hose connection is on the top.
This brings me to my main gripe about this unit. The pump is aluminum as well as the water pipe that feeds the pump. The female hose connector is plastic and after the unit tipping over once the threads were destroyed. The hose would no longer stay threaded in and leaked water all over the driveway. If I tried wheeling the unit around the hose would pop off and I'd have to stop to shut the water off, reconnect hose, turn water back on, etc.
I was going to look for a flexible type hose fitting that would take some stress off the threads but decided to return the unit and buy a proper gas pressure washer.
Swapped the Clean Force for a Homelite/Honda engine 2700 psi uint and couldn't be happier. For the extra money spent, its is leaps ahead of the Clean Force in terms of build quality, fit/finish, and power. 1800 is IMO barely sufficient to use for detailing.
Maybe your experience would be better than mine, but my vote is to pass on the unit.:xyxthumbs:
Thanks for the update
IMHO Karchers are the best of the cheap plastic pressure washers. I got mine at Wal Mart for 130$. It's powerful enough to clean cars and foam them. I comes with a year warranty right from Karcher, which is all you can expect in this price range.
Keep I'm mind, it has proprietary fittings and you will need an adapter for a foamer. I've had it for three months. Works perfect every time, no leaks.

Do any GOOD electric pressure washers exist that don't use corny needless aggravating customer-screwing "proprietary" fittings!? I don't want to step up to gas because of the noise, cost, and... GAS.
