Let me start by saying that this pressure washer was given to me for free and it's old and shows it's age.

It's a Powermate 1200 PSI electric pressure washer. Pic below.

I've taken all the numbers I could find on this machine and searched for countless hours trying to find some sort of manual on the thing or even a pic of the same unit online with no success.

The unit is leaking oil bad. First thought was the pump seal is bad. So with hopes of getting a closer look I took off the plastic cover and the oil actually seems to be coming from the black spout on the top of the motor. It's the small black portion in the middle of the silver portion (sorry best description I could think of).

So my question is maybe the unit is just leaking out of this spout? It doesn't have a cover, but I'm really unsure of what it's for with out having a manual of some sort. Maybe this is where the pump oil can be added? The seals don't seam to be leaking at all, so it's making me think maybe the unit is fine just leaks some oil?

Overall the machine works most of the time with no issues. Sometimes the machine will run but won't create any pressure. But this happens maybe 1 out of 6 times.

I realize that sooner or later I'm going to have to step up and buy a decent pressure washer but for now this thing works great and most importantly it's compact!

Sorry for the long thread! And as always appreciate any help or tips!
