Yes. The 2nd wool pad is not as harsh as the 1st. The 1st one is for cutting. 7.5 inch Hook & Loop DuroWool 100% Twisted Wool Cutting Pad The Foamed Wool Pad is also for polishing. I use this wool pad often on my detail work. Foamed Wool 7.5 inch Polishing/Buffing Pad, purple wool pad, lake country, dual action wool pad
