Prestige Auto Detailing: 2002 Lexus SC 430 - Neiman Marcus

Very correct. :( :( It would happen on something big like this.

It is plastic. I need to get a extra BP just in case. I also have my PC handy too. Sorry about the timing of it. It always happens at the worst time.

ARO and Stoner's more shine. The only way I detail an engine. :props:

Thanks Sparkie

WOW! SWEET!:applause:

That interior color scheme made me puke in my mouth!

but but....... It's a "Neiman Marcus" Special Edition. # 51, out of 100!!!!! lol

That interior is NOT an easy thing to detail since it's RED!!!!!! ugh...

I gotta say I am going to use those 2 products on my engine. Do you only spray the rubber hoses with the stoner's?...and do you wipe them down or just spray and walk away?

I am assuming you use the ARO all over engine...Im the MAN scrub with brush if needed, pressure wash, let engine run a little then apply Stoner's correct?

Have you ever tried Megs Hyper Dressing on engines? I got an SUV tomorrow, I'm going to give it a shot....

Correct. I sprayed Stoners on almost everything under the hood. After I did that, and let the engine run some more, I would wipe everything down.

Nope. Once I use something and really live/love it, I never get other things to try/use. Conserve on spending money.

Okay..... I'm starting to be very depressed. I have not had a chance to finish the Lexus. My family wanted me to start this new temp job working for the state, HOWEVER, I'm not hired be the State directly. I've been hired by Goodwill WITH a chance to be hired by the state. I do not wish to do the job since I'm not making any money. In fact, I'm loosing money. Every day, I have been getting phone calls from people wanting me to detail thier vehicles. THAT is where the money is. #2, I need to find my own place to lease with a 2 car garage. If I had such a place, besides the house I live in with my mom and step-father (no comment), I would hang onto the temp job and work there 4 days a week. The other 3 days I would be able to detail vehicles and bring home the real money.

The reason I have to live like I'm living is due to trying to get disability from Social Security. THAT is the main problem in its self.

What would you do? Feed back please

Oh, the Lexus is being taken over to my friends body shop after work tomorrow. I will be getting the '89 Jaguar XJS Convertable from the body shop. I will have to finish detailing that one for the sale market. Also have a Range Rover, Infiniti M35, Lincoln Town Car, Cadilac and others just waiting. :awman: :bash:  :dunno: :awman:

im looking for a good engine routine...what is ARO and this stoners product? If its anything like invisible glass im sold. I refuse to use another glass cleaner and I have used a ton.

where to buy these two? are you talking about MORE SHINE LESS TIME interior spray or the More SHine Tire spray??

Stoner® More Shine-Less Time Tire Shine: Spray on an instant shine for tires, rubber moldings, etc. tire spray, tire dressing, rubber dressing, stoner

Here are some pictures of vehicles I've done using those two items:

Make sure you use one of these on the engine when you are cleaning them:

Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush, auto detail brush, Wheel Brush, Tire Brush, Detailing Brush, Corvette brush, Mercedes brush, sport wheel brush,

EZ Detail Brush Mini, Motorcycle Detailing Brush, Mini Wheel Brush

That will be able to assist you in the areas where gunk will not come off without a lil pressure.

Awesome! So is there anything else besides the stoners aerosol I could use in the engine? Just not a big fan of aerosol.

So far I like your work! Good job! My only concern is the greasy look that the Stoner's is leaving behind. Do you have any general purpose MF towels laying around? I personally would wipe down the plastics and hoses as much as possible to reduce the greasy appearance. This is just my opinion though! But in the end it's what works for you that matters! :xyxthumbs:

Nicely done on the motors. Looks great. I've had good luck with Meg's Leather Cleaner and Conditioner on my red/black leather seats. Overly nasty stains I'll use 10:1 All Purpose Cleaner first.

To answer 360_detail and follow-up on Sparkie's comment, Meguiar's Hyper Dressing is a great engine dressing. Spray on lightly for less shine, liberally for heavy shine. Wipe off the excess.

Sorry. Yes. I used MF towels to wipe the engine down after all other detail work has been completed.

Still not done with the Lexus. I sent it back to the body shop for one lil thing that needs some attention. Nothing major. I have the clients Jaguar here at the house. It needs a full detail but, It's suppose to rain from Sunday to the end of next week. Also, he has a person who wants to see his '92 BMW 850I since he might be interested in it. Just have no idea when I will be able to do the work. :awman:

Awesome. I have a gallon of that. I was using it for all Exterior plastic and wheel well and tires...But until I can find a way to spray it out of an airline I wont be using it as tire or wheel well dressing.

Still hunting for a good tire dressing that lasts more than one water puddle....
