Pretreatment on Lower Panels Help!

Brown royal is not acidic and won't remove the tar.The fastest way to remove tar is gasoline or lacquer thinner.

Too much for the paint

Personally, I wouldn't use the Megs Non Acid Wheel Cleaner on anything but wheels & tires... Brown Royal is safe on the vehicles paint in lower dilutions.

Yes it will remove tar. It's a degreaser. It says right on the label it removes tar. What does it being non acidic have to do with anything?

Brown Royal is a non etching degreaser.spraying it on a panel with tar will not remove tar.I don't know how megs wheel brightner got into the mix of this thread.Ive bought 55 gallons of brown Royal for a fleet of linen box trucks.used it for years and know what it can or cannot do.Its great for removing blasted on bugs from love bug season in south fla.you can spray it on hot paint and hold a 10 minute conversation in 90 degree weather and spray it off with no damage.

Megs wheel brightner has many uses besides a wheel cleaner.Deosnt remove tar , but it's a great sprinkler spot remover and concrete cleaner.

So maybe tarminator? Just spray problem areas, then follow up with a thorough wash?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've got plenty of APC already. Looking for one product that will kill the tar as well. Is the browns royal or meguiars non-acid wheel cleaner too much?
Try carbrite, they make a product called eradicator melts tar so fast and safe.
